Week 5 Construction – Common stage for future entrepreneurs

3 June 2017

Another stepping stone in the creation of SSE’s future campus:

This week, we are both literally and metaphorically getting closer in creating a bigger common ‘stage’ and ideal conditions for a new generation of local entrepreneurs to thrive. Painting the CEO room, installing the staff kitchen, new colour samples on the walls ready to be approved and last but (certainly) not least: the start of building the seating in our big learning space on the ground floor.

Students across disciplines, across universities and TAFE, across sectors and backgrounds will soon be welcomed on our campus (save the date: 16 August). We look at the picture below as part of a ‘before-after’ serie in which we will later see doctors sitting next to designers, viticulturists, technologists, business students etc. on those benches.

An amazing space in which cross-disciplinary collaboration will take place, accomodating intimate classes of 14 students through to lectures of up to 250 people – from formal lectures to interactive workshops to provide a mix of traditional and experimental learning.
