Week 4 Construction – “Muse” a future hub of activity

27 May 2017

The renovation of the SSE campus marks another milestone on the pathway to an inclusive and unique environment of learning for the new generation of NSW entrepreneurs to thrive.

The focus of week 4 has been the creation of the “Muse” (meeting room) – a room in which students from a range of backgrounds will come together, providing them the ideal conditions for successful brainstorm sessions. Our hardworking builders have been busy getting it ready for flooring and painting prior to the racks arrival. We are curious to see how this space will soon transform into a hub of activity and creativity once the SSE campus is launched (save the date: 16 August!).

Besides the creation of the “Muse”, the walls of the CEO office & meeting room have been painted and all data cabling is now being run from the ground to the first floor.

The fit out of our building is looking good, thanks to MAKE Creative Studio – an award-winning multidisciplinary design studio.

MAKE Creative is part of a small group of design firms that are pre-qualified under the NSW Government Architect’s Strategy & Design Excellence Prequalification Scheme for ‘Emerging Design Practices’. An amazing governmental initiative, which gives small design firms the opportunity to assist NSW Government with design excellence, quality and innovation in the built environment.
