Ash Kumar

Doctor Kumar is a trained physician, medical researcher and digital health expert with 14+ years of experience with a mix of entrepreneurial and research mindset. He completed his medical education and clinical pharmacology degree before making a transition to medical research.

Over the past 15 years, he has worked as a clinician; a clinical research physician in early-to-late phase clinical/medical trials, medical affairs, medical communication, product launch & commercialization and post-launch phase; a digital health/pharmaceutical consultant and a public health researcher. His various industry roles were with some of the top pharmaceutical companies like Ranbaxy and Novartis in a broad range of therapeutic areas, across India and Europe.

In 2014, he moved to Australia and has been involved in providing strategic advice and digital health consultancy to various start-ups and health care organisations. He is involved in public health policy research with UNSW, Sydney. Currently, he is co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Lucidium Health.
