If you think creativity is magic, then it’s time to become a magician.

Ideation is a hands-on journey through the creative process, a human-centred design course to learn and apply creative problem-solving skills.

Mixing elements of design thinking, user experience, prototyping and storytelling, this unit will give you the kind of insight you can only get by getting your hands dirty.

You’ve just missed out on enrolling in this unit…

You’re surrounded by innovation here, it's really exciting and experimental. It's a great connector for like-minded people

Tackle the unknown: Design thinking for startups and innovators

Ideation gives you an understanding of the design thinking process, grounded in real life examples and activities, to help you creatively transform problems into impactful opportunities.

Over 10 flexible weeks online and a four-day intensive on campus in Sydney, you’ll leap into the unknown and demystify the creative process.

Once you’re done, you’ll have the insight and confidence to create something new in any context, whether it be in your own startup or with an existing organisation.

Ideation is for you if:

  • You’ve dreamt of being more creative but don’t know where to start
  • You want to apply your experience to tackle and solve major problems in a variety of contexts
  • You want to see the world in a different way
