New friends. Tick. New ideas. Tick. Boring lectures or tutorials. No way.
Why is studying at SSE so great? Click to find out.
Our units are dynamic, collaborative and real-world focused – you’ll be working hands-on and in small groups to exchange ideas, complete projects and learn by doing. No lectures, no assignments that make you ask "why am I doing this?", no readings from some 18th-century scholar you've never heard of. You will broaden your mindset and skills by working in inter-institutional, cross-disciplinary teams of like-minded peers from right across NSW. Check out our Studying at SSE video.
We believe in making opportunity accessible so SSE charges no fees for this unit.
If you are from outside Sydney, SSE will provide a mobility scholarship to cover travel and accommodation costs.
And when you complete the unit, you'll get a certificate you can show future employers and put on your LinkedIn.
Studying at SSE opens doors. As an alumni, you will become a lifetime member of the diverse SSE community. You'll make unlikely friendships, get direct access to our Brains Trust and have a network of like-minded students from institutions from across NSW to collaborate with.
We've got you covered at SSE. We'll provide plenty of food, coffee and tea to keep you going during your intensive, and learning support is on hand as you work through the units online. You'll get timely feedback and run through assignments that make sense. And there will be more than a few surprises along the way.
