Aruna Venkatachalam

General Manager, Partnerships & International at Young Change Agents, Aruna has worked in international community development, commercial leadership development and social enterprise for many years.

Aruna spent four years in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka where she capacity-built local community organisations, social entrepreneurs, STEM professionals and students by providing training, frameworks, mentorship and connections in design thinking and best-practice community development.

With a local youth hub, Aruna also co-founded a tech start-up that tracked pollution levels in Indian cities, collecting data that was used by citizen groups to advocate to their local governments for safer air and water quality.
