Tanya is an experienced senior executive with over 20 years of experience working with progressive and forward-thinking organisations. She has a background in Entrepreneurial Education, with a proven track record of designing meaningful learning experiences that build the entrepreneurial capacity of individuals and groups to accelerate social change.
Tanya is the founder and CEO of Circulanation, a not-for-profit organisation committed to fostering the entrepreneurial aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples throughout Australia by facilitating responsive place-based and real-world learning opportunities that enable empowered participation in the economy. She has extensive experience developing sustainable, ethical, and culturally focused Indigenous enterprise development and has facilitated a range of projects in remote and regional Australia.
Tanya completed training with the acclaimed Danish business design school KaosPilot. Kaospilot is a hybrid business and design school, providing multi-sided education in leadership and entrepreneurship. The KaosPilot Learning Design methodology is both experimental and experiential. It is student-centric and encourages the development of enterprise skills.
Tanya brings a wealth of knowledge from the startup and corporate sector, establishing the Enterprise Lab at Southern Cross University, a central hub for startups and innovation in the NSW Northern Rivers. As Manager of Entrepreneurship Programs at Southern Cross University, she developed and delivered programs in entrepreneurship.
In addition, Tanya is engaged by Deloitte Australia as a Business Facilitator, providing advisory services to Northern Australian businesses as part of AusIndustry, Strengthening Northern Australia Advisory Services.
