Harriet McMicking

Harriet  was the founder of TIPI Shoppers, an exciting retail concept that solves the problem of people not knowing where to shop for quality homewares when traveling. TIPI connects people with a homeware-focused shopping itinerary, providing superior online interior styling assistance to help tick off their interiors list.

Harriet launched her first startup TIPI Interiors, after surviving an 8.8 earthquake in Chile, trekking a volcano and paddling her way through the Amazon.  Harriet has an indestructible work ethic, including the last 2 years involved in fly in-fly out work at a gold mine in the remote Papua New Guinean Highlands in order to bootstrap the business.

Passionate about interiors and travel, Harriet had the commercial and operational acumen to globally roll out the TIPI Shoppers concept with glorifying success. She also holds a Master of Commerce, Applied Finance major. Harriet graduated on the Dean’s Honour Roll at the University of Queensland.
