Founder of PLEAT
Jennifer is a senior product designer focused on delivering leading digital experiences. She is passionate about using customer research to inform product strategy, and has worked across the product delivery lifecycle from discovery through to evolution.
Her journey began in fashion school, where she learned how form and function come together to create symbolic cultural products. Draping fabric on a mannequin taught her about craft and materiality. She graduated from UTS with a degree in Visual Communication and started her professional career at Google’s Creative Lab. She worked with a talented group of makers, thinkers and tinkerers and some incredible cultural institutions, including Visual Editions, Penguin Random House, Impossible and The British Museum. It was here that she started to develop a taste for digital experimentation, the magic of interaction design and the thrill of rapid prototyping.
As the founder of PLEAT, Jennifer collaborates with international consultancies and early-stage startups to deliver high-value projects. . Clients include: Standard Bank South Africa (with Mobiquity), Mitsubishi Motors Australia (with Merkle), Peppermint, PhantomBuster & Quallie.ai.
