Learning Designer
We are excited to welcome Alla Bekker to SSE's Innovation, Enterprise and Engagement team as a Learning Designer.
Alla is passionate about crafting exciting and innovative learning experiences through the application of technology-enabled and student-centred learning design, best practice user experience, and learning and instructional design. She seeks to maximise learner engagement through conceptual thinking and the creative use of technology, visuals, interactive elements, and rich media to accommodate for diverse learning styles.
She brings to her role extensive experience in graphic design, online, and interactive multimedia. Her first exposure to learning design was in her role as a Senior Designer-Illustrator with the Center for Learning Innovation in 2006 and 2007.
In the years to follow she created learning content for film, video, graphic design, web design and animation courses for the VET sector, and worked as a trainer and assessor delivering face to face, online and blended learning for TAFE NSW (Entrepreneur Education), Designworks College of Design, College of Creative Design and Arts, Keystone College, and Australian College of Information Technology. She was also engaged by UNE Partnerships as a Senior Learning Designer.
